Charles A. Gard

Charles A. Gard, 63 years old, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at Brickyard Healthcare – Fountainview Care Center, in Mishawaka.

He was born on May 8, 1960 in South Bend, to the late Donald C. Gard and Zelda “Squeeze” (Zavor) Gard. Charlie enjoyed drawing, fishing, and hunting, especially mushroom hunting.

Left to cherish the memory of Charlie is a daughter, Amy McDonnell and husband Brian; daughter, Kassondra Benson; daughter, Rachel Gard–Temple and husband Justin; daughter, Miranda Wilken; sister, Tara Rerick; brother, Rick Gard; special cousin, Pam Hartman-Michiels, and fifteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brockten Gard, and a granddaughter, Rylee McDonnell.
