Barbara Bronson

Barbara Bronson, 81, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Memorial Hospital, one day prior to her 54th Wedding Anniversary with John Bronson. They married on October 30, 1969.

Barbara was born on April 29, 1942 in South Bend, to Fred and Genevieve (Jasok) Bucher. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Bucher.

Left to cherish Barbara’s memory is her loving husband, John; children, Jennifer Bronson, Gary Michael (Kathy) Nijak; granddaughter, Briana Butts; great-granddaughter, Vera Butts.

Barbara enjoyed cooking, baking, and the outdoors; maintaining the yard and hanging flower baskets. She loved going to the hair dresser and getting her nails done.

Visitation for Barbara will be 2:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 and 1:00-2:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023 in St. Joseph Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday, in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery
