Arthur "Roscoe" Beasley

Arthur "Roscoe" Beasley, 62 years old, passed away on July 10, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence in South Bend, IN. Roscoe was born on December 28, 1960 in New Orleans, LA to the late Art Beasley, Sr. and Edna May Montgomery.

Left to cherish his memories are the love of his life, Linda Beasley; children, Kara (Robert Huffman, III) Beasley, and Jessy Beasley; sisters, May Anderson, Kay Wilkerson, and Flo Plank; his brother, Carl Retzlaff; his aunt, Bonnie Stevens; and his friend/family member, Jessica Dailey. Roscoe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends that he has made throughout his life.

Roscoe was a true handman. He could fix practically anything he put his hands on. He was always willing to help his family and friends with projects around their homes and even strangers broken down on the side of the road. If he saw someone in need, he stepped up to help them out. Roscoe also loved hunting, fishing, barbecues and family get-togethers, and spending time with his friends and family – even those who lived out of town. His favorite place to go and relax with his buddies was the local bar, My Place. Roscoe was a special man and will be truly missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life held by the family at a later date. Funeral arrangements were trusted to St. Joseph Funeral Home.
