Arnold Cruz

Arnold Cruz, 64, passed away at home on Friday, May 03, 2024.

Arnold was born on July 15, 1959 in South Bend, to the late Jesus and Juanita (Perales) Cruz. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Maria Chavez and Sylvia Cruz; and brother, George Cruz.

Left to cherish the memory of Arnold are his children, Adan (Veronica) Cruz, Erika Cruz, Aricha Baker, and Nicholas Baker; grandson, Nico Cruz; sisters, Jesusa Davis, Elisa (Ray) Prieto, Elida Cruz, Irene (Duane) Doty, and Teri (Theodore) Temple; brothers, Carlos Cruz, Antonio (Lucy) Cruz, Daniel (Sue) Cruz, Raymond Cruz, and Lorenzo (Esmeralda) Cruz.

Arnold proudly served his country in the Army National Reserves. He worked for various restaurants throughout the years, including The Landing. Arnold also worked with his brother, Tony, who owns Vera Cruz Tree Service. He was a jack of all trades. Arnold liked being outdoors, gardening, and fishing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Notre Dame fan.  Arnold loved all his family and spending time with them. 

Per Arnold’s wishes, no public services will be held.
