Anthony “Tony” Haluda, 63 years old, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 at his residence in Mishawaka.
Tony was born on February 16, 1962 in South Bend, to Raymond and Betty (Nalepinski) Haluda. Tony is preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law, Susan Haluda; and grandparents, Felix & Genevieve Haluda and Frank & Mary Nalepinski.
Left to cherish the memory of Anthony is mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Haluda; sister, Diane (Robert) James; brothers, Mark (Micki) Haluda, Paul Haluda, John (Laura) Haluda, and his twin, Philip Haluda; his longtime companion of 30 years, Candis Wickizer; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Tony was a graduate from North Liberty High School in 1980. He worked as a Sheet Metal Fabricator and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 22. He loved being outdoors – whether on his tractor or out with his beloved two black labs. Tony also loved listening to music – especially Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Teddy Swims. Although Tony operated on “Tony Time” and was late for everything, he was extremely generous. He would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation for Tony will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Saturday, November 15, 2025 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd with a memorial service starting at 1:00pm.
