D.M. Dettling Funeral Directors is a brand new firm, built strongly on the foundation of years of professional experience of service to families in the Houston area. The facility is completely unique – there’s never been another funeral home like this one.
Our History
“It’s designed for the families. I want to give them the gift of safety; a place where they feel safe to be who they are, and whatever they need to be in that moment,” shared the founder, David Dettling. “Not only that, we’ve got every amenity imaginable: a non-denominational chapel which seats 75 family members and their guests; two beautifully decorated state rooms with full audio-video capability, and a reception area with a full kitchen. We also offer catering services, so that families can invite their closest family members and friends to join them – without the need to cook and serve the food themselves.”
